Father's Day gatherings bring out yummy samplings from my kitchen. You know that the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach. This year as every year on Father's Day we met at my parents house with all of my siblings and their families. I am incredibly blessed to have a family close by to celebrate even the smaller holidays on a regular basis.
I tried a couple recipes from Pinterest that I hadn't tried yet. One of them you will find here. http://thediva-dish.com/uncategorized/strawberry-broccoli-salad-how-to-get-your-2-year-old-to-eat-it/ It is Strawberry Broccoli Salad and oh my! I have made spinach and strawberry with feta cheese before and love that. With cashews, broccoli, strawberries and plain Greek yogurt as part of the dressing, it almost has all of the food groups! I really think I will make up batches of this and put it in small containers for lunches! It has everything you need for a yummy, healthy lunch. All food groups except the grains. (But who doesn't love a good cracker with a salad?) YUM!
